The second Meiji General Members’ Meeting (GMM) will take place on Monday the 20th of July at 19:00. The location is Zeppelin (1.056).
In the mail sent out to all members you can find the agenda, the social annual report, minutes of the last GMM and the general GMM decision sheet. More files will be sent in a follow up mail.
If you want to request a topic or have any remarks/questions, then let us know beforehand so we can prepare ahead of time. Otherwise, we might not be able to cover the topic on this GMM.
The GMM is the opportunity to get a feel of the inner workings of Kinjin and to vote on topics important to our association. In case you are unfamiliar with what a GMM entails, here is a brief explanation: A GMM allows the members of the association to vote whenever an important decision must be made. Typical examples are things such as voting in the board of the next academic year or member contribution. Per Kinjin tradition, there will also be a VLA break, in which we hand out and eat the delicious Dutch dessert vla together. Note that GMM is algemene ledenvergadering (ALV) in Dutch, which is the reverse of VLA.
At Kinjin, every member who is enrolled at a higher education institution in Eindhoven has voting power. If you cannot make it to the GMM, you can choose another member with voting power to vote for you. Note that any member is only allowed to vote for at most one other member. If you want to delegate your vote to another member, send a reply to this email or contact a board member with the name of the person who has your vote.
We hope to see you at the GMM!
